PART ONE: THE INNER YOU
In Part One of the interpretations you will read two sections concerned with your individual traits.

The first section describes your ego (sun), emotional make-up (moon), learning and intellectual orientation (Mercury), relationships and sociability (Venus), and the expression and focus of your physical energy (Mars).

The second section describes how well you deal internally with the external situations that you experience in life. Your capacity for happiness (Jupiter), ability to tolerate restrictions and frustrations (Saturn), how you are associated with or relate to new or innovative ideas and methods, and radical ideas and events that upset the status quo (Uranus), how you are associated with or affected by public ideals, morality, and spirituality (Neptune), and how you are associated with or affected by public policies toward crime, toward the power of government and industry, and toward exploration, development, conservation and distribution of natural resources (Pluto).

SUN
The sun rules will power and ego. It is the core of your potential and uniqueness as an individual; who you are and what you are about. It represents the main direction and focus you want your life to take, and your determination to accomplish what you set out to do. It is your personal honesty and integrity, and the ability to command respect and authority, to impress and influence others.

SUN in GEMINI
As the third sign of the zodiac, Gemini represents the third stage in the evolution of man and his place in the universe. Gemini goes beyond the Aries need for the raw energy of survival and the Taurus need to physically touch and experience the material world. In Gemini, it is the intellect that man needs to develop in order to understand the universe. This stage is concerned primarily with information-gathering and Geminis never seem to stop collecting it. They need to express ideas and share information with others, but what they do with their information is another matter. The mature Gemini becomes a serious scholar and careful researcher. The immature Gemini turns into a gossip and the proverbial "jack-of all-trades and master of none".

Geminis readily adapt to change. This trait is a strength because it is a survival mechanism, and a weakness because it makes them vulnerable to the demands and influence of other people. The Twins are the astrological symbol of Gemini. Adopting a twin-like similarity to other people is easy for Geminis. They not only have a unique ability to understand what others are thinking, they also possess great cleverness for imitation. In this way they can maneuver themselves into many favorable positions. They can also lose sight of their own talents and ideas by being too willing and able to adopt the traits and immerse themselves in the personal situations of others. They tend to say what others want to hear instead of saying what they really think, or what they know to be the truth.

Geminis react intellectually to everything they experience in life. That is, before they take physical action, before they assess the practical worth of something, and before they sort out their true emotions, they try to analyze things objectively as a kind of mental exercise. Though it is generally not a true assessment, the intellectual orientation of Geminis can make it appear to others as though they are unfeeling or emotionally superficial.

Mercury, planet of the intellect (and communication in general) rules the sign Gemini. Those born with Sun in Gemini are talkative, quick witted, and have innate curiosity about everything. They keep themselves in a constant state of busyness, running here and there on errands or traveling from one city to another. Natural versatility and ever-changing interests give Geminis their multifaceted personalities. The eagerness and interest they have in what's going on around them contributes to an appearance of youthfulness (both physical and psychological) that most of them manage to retain throughout life. They have to learn to concentrate on one thing at a time, or at least on what they know can be accomplished efficiently and well. Easily jumping from one subject to another, they forget that others are not so nimble. They often have to be reminded to slow down and let others catch up with what they're talking about. They also have to be reminded to stop talking once in a while and listen. Sometimes they neglect to get all the facts before repeating information. Though they can be secretive about their personal affairs, they love to learn about everyone else. They enjoy mysteries and intrigue and don't mind becoming involved in behind the scenes antics of one sort or another. Always wanting to know everything gives them quite a store of information which in turn, makes them more interesting to others. Add to that their cheerful, friendly dispositions, and it isn't surprising that they get along so well in the world.

Since they are apt to spend more time talking than eating, many Geminis are able to stay fairly slim. Their body is usually very flexible and agile, and they enjoy gymnastics, bicycling, swimming, and other activities that keep them physically fit. Favorite sports are tennis, racquetball and similar games in which they can participate with a partner. As a rule, they are adept at tinkering with mechanical devices or doing repair work. Gemini talents also include design, interior decoration, arts and crafts, magic and illusion, and music.

Gemini colors are yellow and light blue. Vulnerable parts of the body are the arms, hands, fingers, lungs, and nervous system. Respiratory problems and various nervous conditions are common Gemini complaints. Agates are traditional Gemini birthstones. Appropriate to the multifaceted Gemini personality, this mineral is streaked with many colors. It may seem Gemini is scattered and thus weakened by the wide range of interests and abilities, but the steel-like hardness of agate is a reminder that the Gemini personality and character can be just as strong as it is varied. Gemini flowers include the lilac, azalea, and lily-of-the-valley.

MOON
The moon rules desire as opposed to ego, need as opposed to expediency or reason. It describes how you feel about yourself, how you handle relationships, and how you emotionally respond to situations and experiences. It describes the flow of your daily functions; physical, emotional, and mental. The moon represents your residence and domestic environment. It rules babies and young children, your mother and other important females in your life.

MOON in TAURUS
Except in the pursuit of pleasure (to which many of them can be quite dedicated) those born with the moon in an Earth sign are not emotionally spontaneous. They don't nonchalantly accept the responsibility of long-term relationships, or analyze emotional commitments merely as a mental exercise. They may hesitate to move at all unless they feel they are on solid ground, or there is some personal advantage to be gained by their emotional involvement. As lunar Earth sign personalities, those with moon in Taurus require tangible proof of affection from those with whom they form relationships. Their strong physical appetites push them to gratify their desires whenever they have the opportunity, but never in an outwardly reckless manner that threatens their basic security. Material comforts and the advantages of wealth are important to them, and they can become overly concerned with social status. Though they enjoy having the stability of a solid home and family life, they are not necessarily homebodies. In fact, they tend to spend a lot of time and attention on social or economic pursuits instead of routine household or family chores.

Taurus moon personalities do not want to be rushed or forced into commitments. However, once they do make an emotional commitment to a project, idea, or relationship, they doggedly pursue and hang on to it. It's hard for them to accept when things go wrong, and it may take an even longer time for them to make the necessary adjustments to rectify the situation. Their calm and quiet temperament has a stabilizing influence on others, but it can also give them an aura of self-containment that makes them appear proud or unapproachable. Others who break promises or fail to keep their word to them must be prepared to endure the consequences. Moon in Taurus personalities have long memories. They may forgive but they rarely forget. Some of them remember personal insults and disappointments for years, wasting precious time bearing grudges that should have been long forgotten.

Women with Taurus moon are independent and self-reliant. Their nature is to spend lavishly in particular situations and be very miserly in others. There doesn't seem to be a middle ground in the matter. They are apt to gain materially through marriage. Men with Taurus moon are charming and diplomatic in social relationships and sensual partners in romantic encounters. Though they can be hedonistic, they are also unselfishly devoted to their children.

MERCURY
Mercury indicates mental outlook, intellectual endeavors, the way you think and communicate. It represents ideas, methods, and information. It rules your hands and thus your manual dexterity and mechanical skills. Mercury also describes transportation; that is, how you get where you're going physically and mentally. Do you speed with all possible haste or amble along taking a few detours here and there?

MERCURY in TAURUS
Individuals with Mercury in Taurus don't usually jump to conclusions or easily accept new ideas. Their thinking is structured and conservative, but their ideas are likely to be practical and constructive. If they believe an idea or method has no value, they abandon it for more useful endeavors. The stubborn nature of Taurus implies an ability in these individuals to develop great powers of concentration. However, unless they accept the need to learn in the first place, they obstinately refuse to concentrate or be taught. Their most productive approach to learning is through practical application. Once they see the practicality of something, they are motivated to learn the theory behind it. When it comes to the matter of learning and transportation they don't care to waste too much time. However, haste in getting where they are going is not as much of a goal as being able to take the most direct route.

VENUS
Venus rules your social attitudes and behavior, and your aesthetic tastes and inclinations. It is female relationships and social interactions at every level. Venus indicates your values. It describes romance, marriage and other partnerships, capacity for humor, and the pursuit of pleasure.

VENUS in GEMINI
Individuals with natal Venus in Gemini are some of the most accomplished flirts in the zodiac. It would be a mistake to accuse them of being emotionally shallow because other factors can more accurately account for the depth of their emotional commitment. However, in purely social situations, these individuals are remarkably adept. The influence of Gemini indicates their physical pleasure in relationships is never as great as the intellectual stimulation derived from them. Excellent speakers and ad-libbers, their social instincts are more geared to sharing ideas and picking up all kinds of interesting information than intense physical or emotional encounters. They find inspiration in maintaining a wide variety of relationships with people from different backgrounds and experiences.

MARS
Mars rules physical energy and efforts. It describes the strength and direction of the physical force that drives your ego, fires your emotions, and encourages your mental endeavors and communicative skills. It describes male relationships and associations, risk-taking inclinations, and the physical challenges you are likely to encounter.

MARS in VIRGO
Individuals with Mars in Virgo possess a number of different kinds of physical and mental skills that allow them access to a wide range of activities. Writing, teaching, health care, interior design, or fashion design are just a few areas in which these individuals may direct their time and attention. They can be very self-disciplined, organized individuals who have no trouble dividing their energy among several projects at the same time. If other factors in their individual natal chart interfere, their sense of detail is lost in disorganization and sloppiness. Efforts to perfect their skills and abilities to impossible levels can be discouraged when they are confronted with the imperfection of reality. They need to develop tolerance for such imperfect situations or they can lapse into an idle and unproductive existence.

JUPITER
Jupiter rules your potential for growth and expansion on many levels; physical, intellectual, spiritual, cultural, and the accumulation of material assets, power, and status. It describes your optimism and aspirations. It represents your father and his position in society.

JUPITER in GEMINI
Individuals with natal Jupiter in Gemini seek to experience growth and expansion of their intellect. It doesn't guarantee they will be able to use the knowledge they accumulate, or that they will be given the opportunity in life to gain it. If fortune or circumstances restrict their formal education or opportunity to travel, they may become self-educated, and seek to become prosperous in their immediate environment. Their continuing interests involve collecting, disseminating, and using information and ideas.

SATURN
Saturn rules responsibilities, restrictions and limitations you are apt to encounter, and the lessons you must learn in life. It does not deny or diminish imagination, inspiration, spirituality, and good fortune but it does demand that these things be given structure and meaning.

SATURN in PISCES
Individuals with natal Saturn in Pisces can become very restricted by their inability to deal with or let go of the past. They are usually denied the ability to learn very much from their past and must rely solely on the understanding that comes from maturity and the ability to accurately analyze relationships and situations in their present state of reality. The positive potential implies that they may be gifted mathematicians, musicians, and able to turn pure theory into practical application.

URANUS
Uranus rules personal as well as societal freedom. It indicates originality of thought and expression. In society it rules radical ideas and people as well as revolutionary events that upset established structures. Uranus takes approximately seven years to transit one sign, taking about 84 years to complete all twelve signs. Since groups of people with Uranus in the same sign are separated by 84 years, the influence of this planet in a sign is generational. The personal implications of Uranus in your life are described by its house position and the aspects it makes with other planets in your natal chart. It describes areas of unpredictability, and where you or your life style may be different than those around you. It relates to the unusual or unique. Friends and associations to which you belong are also indicated, as is your potential involvement with science and technology, computers, and the media.

URANUS in VIRGO
Virgo does not necessarily want to change things. Virgo inspires improvement and the ability to make proper use of what is already at hand. It will be up to the generation of individuals with natal Uranus in Virgo to explore new methods, concepts, and technology that enable society to deal more efficiently with existing resources, products, and institutions.

NEPTUNE
Neptune rules those who are oppressed or abandoned; the misfits of society. On a higher level it rules visionaries, and those who are glamorous and charismatic. It represents spirituality, mysticism, and ideals. Neptune is in one sign for approximately thirteen years, taking about 164 years to complete its cycle through all twelve signs. Since 164 years separate people born during its transit of one sign and those born when it returns, Neptune's significance in any sign is described as generational or historical. On a personal level, Neptune's house position and the aspects it makes with other planets in your natal chart will describe spirituality, abstract thinking, illusion, disillusionment, and other areas of your life where things aren't always what they seem. It rules derangement, guilt, persecution, and describes the potential for experiences related to confinement, abandonment, and addiction or physical intolerance to drugs.

NEPTUNE in SCORPIO
The latest period of Neptune in Scorpio was 1955-1970 and the influence of Neptune in Scorpio had observable impact. Sexual codes (Scorpio) prior to the 60's dissolved (a Neptunian influence). Sexually explicit material invaded the media and everyday life. Drugs and creation of a counter-culture eroded the family and traditional values (Neptune). Spying and secret surveillance (Scorpio) in public and private life were evident in fact and fiction.

PLUTO
Pluto takes approximately 248 years to make one cycle through all twelve signs. The period Pluto spends in each sign can vary from twelve years to thirty two years due to the eccentricity of its orbit. Like atomic energy (a force ruled by Pluto), the presence and direction of Pluto's energy are never obvious until it is used. Pluto's influence in any sign is interpreted as generational or historical. In your personal life, Pluto's significance is interpreted from its house position and the aspects it makes to other natal planets in your horoscope. Pluto rules intense energy, and describes the areas in which you consciously or subconsciously seek to exercise power or control. Pluto is also linked to your karmic responsibility, and in this respect, it describes the areas where you must gain the deepest level of understanding.

PLUTO in VIRGO
Pluto's last period in Virgo was 1957-1971. Virgo rules health, practical applications of science and technology, and the work force. During the recent Pluto transit in Virgo, the general state of America's health and welfare underwent unprecedented changes, computers came of age, and the once powerful unions experienced great loss of influence.

PART TWO: THE OUTER YOU
In Part Two you will read about the twelve houses of the horoscope. The houses represent areas of life in which you operate on a daily basis. You will read descriptions of how you handle the circumstances you encounter in each of these areas, according to your nature, personality and other traits as they are outlined in Part One.

HOUSE 1
The first house and the sign that rules the first house, which is also known as the Ascendant or Rising sign, describes your outer personality and physical attributes. To some extent it also describes your health and the type of illnesses you may experience.

SAGITTARIUS ASCENDANT
A Sagittarius Ascendant indicates individuals with a certain type of flexible personality that works well for them. Because of their need for independence and freedom, they are apt to constantly put themselves in changing circumstances and different environments. Such changes would, in turn, require a certain amount of adaptability. Many of these individuals put marriage off until later in life or skip it altogether unless they find understanding partners who do not attempt to be possessive or confine them. Once such an acceptable marriage arrangement is made however, they adapt and are stable, loyal spouses.

They are full of energetic enthusiasm. However, their enthusiasm is not necessarily always accompanied by unflagging physical energy. They may, in fact, tend to be lazy unless highly motivated to perform. It is often difficult to engage in boring routine exercise and in spite of their innate restlessness and propensity for rushing around in a myriad of activities, they are quite capable of being unwilling (or unable) to keep themselves trim and in good physical shape. Though often rash and hasty their passions are sincere and inspirational.

Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, planet of inspiration, wisdom, good fortune, and abundance. These individuals are apt to be spiritually or philosophically oriented, talkative, intellectually curious, and, at times, perhaps a bit too impressed with status and wealth. Their natural exuberance and generosity are responsible for unrestrained abundance. Like those with Gemini Ascendants, they are apt to demonstrate any one of a wide range of orientations and abilities, from being great teachers, writers, scholars or researchers all the way down to those who engage in the flimflam of con artists and the intellectual emptiness of merely copying the originality and talent of others.

They are apt to be very honest, though it is also true that their too-candid remarks can sometimes be misinterpreted as rudeness. The negative influences associated with Sagittarius Ascendant indicate the possibility of those afflicted with a tendency for self-indulgence which makes them pompous, grossly overweight, dependent on drugs or alcohol, or too opinionated and cynical. On the positive side, Sagittarius indicates love of drama and the theater, good food and drink, dancing, sports, animals, and, as a rule, they never miss an opportunity to travel. They are likely to be involved with publishing, education, religion, art, or music, either as a profession or hobby.

HOUSE 2
The second house describes material assets, how you handle monetary income, and the potential ways it may be earned. It also indicates the values and priorities you establish throughout life.

CAPRICORN on 2nd HOUSE
Capricorn ruling the second house is not an indication of great wealth nor does it imply a lack of wealth. It indicates individuals whose material assets, values and priorities are likely to be a constant source of concern. However, worry over money may be what motivates them to acquire enough income that poverty never becomes a reality. There is also potential that some of these individuals will rebel against monetary restrictions, and, valuing the pleasures of life more than security, they waste their resources. Even in those who are miserly, or at least very conservative about spending money, there are conflicting patterns of behavior to which they may fall victim. Appropriate to the old adage of being "penny wise and pound foolish, " they can be foolishly extravagant when it was unnecessary and excessively prudent when a more generous attitude would have been wise. This behavior applies to more than just money. Their biggest fear, for example, may be that others will take advantage of their time and talents. Establishing the correct values and priorities, and reacting to monetary advantages, or disadvantages, as the case may be, are life's biggest challenges.

HOUSE 3
The third house describes your mental state, intellectual orientation, self-expression and communication, early education, mechanical dexterity and skills, immediate environment (neighborhood), and siblings. It indicates physical actions, and transportation, especially within your immediate environment. To a certain extent the third house also describes the job or health of your father.

CAPRICORN on 3rd HOUSE
Capricorn ruling the third house indicates individuals whose learning processes or communicative skills may be limited or frustrated, or their education is limited. It implies the possibility of lack of imagination, reluctance of verbal expression, learning disabilities, and sight, hearing, or speech impediments. These individuals may view educational tasks as unpleasant or tedious, but later in life they may be more receptive, even eager, to learn and to communicate their thoughts and ideas. Another area influenced by Capricorn on the third house involves relationships with siblings. It can mean, for example, a great age difference between these individuals and their siblings and the relationships are necessarily limited by the generation gap, or it can mean they may have responsibility for a sibling. Another common occurrence under Capricorn's influence is an extremely close relationship with a sibling that fosters too much dependence in one or both of them. Relationships with neighbors may be restricted. The positive side of Capricorn's influence implies long and stable relationships with neighbors and siblings, as well as talent and organizational ability in dealing with ideas and information.

HOUSE 4
The fourth house describes your residence, domestic environment, and family members, especially your mother. It indicates the beginning as well as the end of various cycles in your life.

AQUARIUS on 4th HOUSE
Aquarius ruling the fourth house indicates the likelihood of unpredictable or unusual situations regarding childhood, a parent, and adult home life. These individuals are apt to live a very different lifestyle or in a different place or area than the one in which they were brought up. This may be a deliberate choice, but it can also be the result of circumstances beyond their control. They are apt to spend a certain period of time living under abnormal or unusual conditions. They tend to favor unusual designs and architecture and many of them enjoy building their own homes. Inside their houses their preferences are either antiques and an assortment of odd or interesting furnishings and designs, or very contemporary, futuristic styles. In many cases they enjoy mixing the very old with the very new in unusual eclectic arrangements. Everyone is welcomed into their homes as a friend, and their residences are apt to be favorite gathering places for groups and organizations to which they belong.

SATURN in 4th HOUSE
Saturn in the fourth house can mean those who are deprived of a parent early in life. It also suggests austerity and strictness that may apply to the personality of one or both parents, to the emotional content of their home, or to physical aspects of their surroundings. Whatever their actual childhood circumstance or family history may be, these individuals harbor great concerns about it. As adults they may be strict and inflexible in their own domestic environment, or be so negative as to dismiss any notion of establishing a home or family. Saturn's positive influence includes those who enjoy very stable family relationships. It also indicates those who live their entire life in the same house or hometown. The negative potential includes those who are homebound, unable through illness or disease to leave their residence. How these individuals learn to handle any hardships related to home and family is an important key to their happiness and success.

SATURN opposite URANUS
Saturn opposite Uranus is a generational aspect that indicates fierce opposition between the old and the new, the liberal and the conservative elements of society. Compromise is rarely possible. When a winner is declared, there is usually no trace left of the losers or that which they represented.

SATURN trine NEPTUNE
Saturn trine Neptune is a generational aspect that indicates widespread and generous public support for cultural establishments and artistic groups and organizations. There is increased tolerance for minority groups and renewed interest and support for handicapped, underprivileged and institutionalized people. Individuals born in this generation are apt to have careers or private activities that are involved in these areas.

SATURN opposite PLUTO
Saturn opposite Pluto is a generational aspect that is unfortunate. The powerful seek more and more control, and tend to abuse their positions of authority. It is extremely inflexible in nature and fosters the Machiavellian philosophy that the end justifies the means. Individuals born in this generation may have the misfortune to personally experience these conditions or they may deal with them in their professions or other activities.

HOUSE 5
The fifth house describes your creative talent and imaginative powers, capacity for enjoyment and the pursuit of pleasure, romance, children, and speculative ventures.

PISCES on the 5th HOUSE
Pisces ruling the fifth house indicates the likelihood of secret romance. Other possibilities include individuals who indulge in, or are victims of romantic deception. They may become romantically involved with someone of a minority group, or who is disabled, addicted to drugs or alcohol, or works in medicine, the navy, maritime industries, or areas that involve the feet which means anything from being a dancer to working in a shoe store. It is also possible that their children (or lovers) may have remarkable artistic talent. They may suffer the loss of children, or have to assume responsibility for the adoption or care of children. There is danger of deception and loss in speculative ventures. Though it is also possible, if supported by other factors in their personalities and backgrounds, that they can develop valuable intuition in this area. If this is the case, they may be very lucky gamblers, but should never take their good fortune for granted. Vacations should be spent on ocean cruises or at least near water, especially the ocean.

HOUSE 6
The sixth house describes your job, daily responsibilities (paid and unpaid), and those who work for or with you. It also represents your health, and physical fitness.

TAURUS on 6th HOUSE
Taurus ruling the sixth house indicates individuals who prefer jobs that involve working either with a partner or a number of co-workers. Negative potentials for Taurus on the sixth house can include individuals who may be too lazy to work and drift from one job to another, finding something wrong with every one, creating excuses to quit. Individuals with Taurus on the sixth house find it difficult to work efficiently, if at all, when their efforts are not appreciated, or there is continuous disharmony and confrontation. They work well in physically comfortable environments. They are likely to meet their marriage partner through their job. They are usually pet fanciers and their animals are likely to be well-trained and cared for. These individuals often pursue health and fitness programs and may even become professionally involved in this type of work. They also find occupations as florists and in public relations, agriculture, banking, investment and finance, or some phase of the beauty industry.

MOON in 6th HOUSE
Moon in the sixth house indicates vulnerability to a continuing variety of medical complaints, especially stomach or digestive disorders. The ailments of these individuals are usually not major threats but can disrupt their work and routine schedules. They are apt to operate a business from their home, or seek jobs related to homes, food, family life, women, or children. They develop mothering instincts and other strong emotional identification toward those who work for or with them. They may work better with women than with men. Work habits may be inconsistent as is their ability to stay in jobs. Their general health and psychological outlook are strongly affected by their work, and when the work environment or responsibilities are upsetting for some reason, inefficiency and absences are the result.

MOON trine URANUS
Moon trine Uranus indicates those with remarkable poise, ability to handle many difficult or unusual situations with understanding and aplomb. Intellectually curious and keenly intelligent, these egalitarian individuals can emotionally identify with people everywhere and from all levels of society. Emotional attachments may be unpredictable and erratic but rewarding and unique sources of their personal growth.

MERCURY in 6th HOUSE
Mercury in the sixth house indicates those who like to keep busy whether they work at an outside job or in their home. However, it doesn't mean they always accomplish meaningful things. They may become so preoccupied with unnecessary details or needless tasks, their work is never caught up. Unwilling or unable to properly delegate tasks to others, they may end up exhausted, overworked, and frustrated. They may have so many things going on that it is difficult for others to assist them. Mercury's influence implies those who prefer working in their own neighborhood or those who may work with or for a neighbor or sibling. These individuals are also likely to be writers, librarians, researchers, teachers, trainers, physical fitness experts, or work with computers or in communication. They may operate or work in employment agencies, or in social or health-related agencies and services. Whatever their job happens to be, they tend to generate a lot of paper work, reports, memos, and lists.

MERCURY trine MARS
Mercury trine Mars indicates intellectual and communicative energy and enthusiasm. These individuals insist on being part of everything that happens around them. Easily bored with routine or repetitive situations, they are anxious to break new ground, and eagerly seek challenges that test their intellectual capabilities and expand their mental horizons. Most of them possess mechanical skills, enjoy traveling, and keep up a constant pace of running here and there within their communities.

MERCURY opposite NEPTUNE
Though individuals with Mercury opposite Neptune may be expert in some narrow field of endeavor they may be out of touch with reality on a broad basis. Thoughts and ideas rarely depend on logic or attempts to understand the facts. Assumptions are drawn from their past and on their vivid, but sometimes faulty imaginations. This aspect often indicates great spirituality. These individuals may prefer solitude, or this condition may be imposed.

SUN in 6th HOUSE
Sun in the sixth house indicates those whose personal identification is tied to their work, as well as to co-workers or other people for whom they are responsible. They handle even the most routine tasks with dedication and pride, inspiring the admiration of others who are less organized or motivated. Those who can't (or don't) take pride in their work end up discouraged and bitter. Some of them exaggerate the importance of what they do, while others fail to accept any work they think is beneath them. Whatever their work may be, they will demand tangible payment and recognition of their efforts. Health and physical fitness are, or should be, important to them.

SUN conjunct JUPITER
These individuals have generous natures, with enormous capacity for enjoying life and wanting the very best of everything. Whether or not they pursue a formal education, their intellectual curiosity compels them to want to know everything and gives them a healthy respect for knowledge. Negative associations of this conjunction lead in opposite directions; ruined health and finances caused by constant overestimation and overindulgence, or, miserable miserliness inspired by exaggerated self- denial. On the positive side these individuals are true spiritual leaders, gifted actors, mimics, inspired teachers, writers, and artists.

SUN square URANUS
Sun square Uranus indicates those who tend to be highly eccentric, or at least have some eccentricities hidden in what others may view as their fairly straight personalities or demeanors. They may even surprise themselves by their own behavior and reactions to things, which are by no means predictable or consistent from one time to the next. Obstacles they encounter in life are often unexpected and may be unusual.

SUN square PLUTO
Sun square Pluto indicates those who are constantly running into situations which call for the use of all their resources. Sometimes they are unwilling to give up one thing to gain another and, in these situations, they lose more often than they win. They have the ability to manipulate situations to their own advantage, and like it or not, this is often what they are forced to do in order to gain control over many obstacles that would otherwise prevent them from succeeding or achieving their goals.

JUPITER in 6th HOUSE
Jupiter in the sixth house indicates those who require much latitude in their work. Many of them want to operate their own business. When employed by others however, they are happiest when unsupervised, able to work at their own pace, make their own deadlines, and allowed to take at least some liberty with tasks and projects. They prefer working with the public and in highly visible areas. Travel or publishing may be related to their job. They may be employed by relatives from their mother's side of the family. Though they may tend to exaggerate their own importance at times, they are cheerful and optimistic toward those who work for or with them. The negative potential includes chronic disorganization and procrastination when it comes to work, and health problems that result from overindulgence.

JUPITER square URANUS
Jupiter square Uranus is a generational aspect and whether or not individuals personally agree with it, their generation is opposed to traditional thoughts and ideological trends. They are deliberately confrontational and stubbornly entrenched in antagonistic modes. The direction of fashions, politics, religion, philosophy and every societal institution they influence, is reversed. Liberal trends become conservative, and conservatism is overthrown for a new liberalism.

JUPITER square PLUTO
Jupiter square Pluto implies a generation that succeeds through sheer force of will power. Societal situations which confront these individuals involve issues of power and control and, as a result, they are forced to analyze and understand human psychological motivations and behavioral patterns. How much of this spills into their private affairs is a matter of other factors in their personalities and backgrounds.

HOUSE 7
The seventh house relates to marriage and partnership or joint ventures of any kind. It describes how you interact with people and how others tend to regard you. The seventh house is associated with legal matters, negotiations, contracts, and all open confrontations, pleasant as well as adversarial.

GEMINI on 7th HOUSE
Gemini ruling the seventh house indicates individuals who are concerned with partnerships, contracts, public relations, and the law. They may end up in partnership with their siblings, or aunts and uncles on their mother's side of the family. They are also apt to have several partnerships concerning different enterprises, including the distinct possibility of more than one marriage. Because they are often unwilling to give up their freedom or fail to find a partner sympathetic to this need, they may not marry at all. If they marry more than once, they will probably manage to separate these events, but bigamy is not out of the range of possibilities. They can get into long conversations with practically everyone they meet including total strangers. They are always interested in knowing everyone else's business, and can be guilty of engaging in too much small talk or gossip. Many of these individuals possess excellent memories for names, faces, and facts about other people. Their marriage or business partners are apt to be involved in teaching, writing, publishing, or work in advertising or communications.

VENUS in 7th HOUSE
Venus in the seventh house indicates outgoing, people-oriented individuals who are diplomatic, charming, and polite to everyone they meet. Without constant exposure to other people, these individuals can become withdrawn and unmotivated, because consciously or subconsciously, they depend on such interactions for inspiration and feedback. However needful they may be for the company of others, it usually has to be on a one-to-one basis, since many of these individuals dislike waiting in line and hate to get caught in crowds. They have the capacity to derive much pleasure and enjoyment from marriage, though the mere presence of Venus in the seventh house is no guarantee of wedded bliss. Whether or not they are married, these individuals are likely to achieve some of their greatest successes through partnerships and cooperative efforts of one kind or another. The negative potential includes difficulty in finding the right partner, and lack ability to cooperate or get along with others.

VENUS square MARS
Venus square Mars indicates those apt to exhibit a certain social awkwardness; diamonds in the rough, as it were. Quick tempers and a too aggressive approach in dealing with others have to be softened by other factors in their personalities and backgrounds. Romance can be more a matter of passion or expedience than anything else, either on their part or in those with whom they share such relationships. Their instincts or talent in art or music tend more toward the bold and blunt than the subdued or elegant.

VENUS square SATURN
Venus square Saturn by no means indicates lack of generosity in these individuals, though others may not be generous toward them. Financial debts seem to occur easily and frequently, either through their own extravagance, inability to manage income, or as a result of being responsible for debts incurred by others. Social efforts may be fraught with obstacles but in the end, those who persevere get what they want.

VENUS square PLUTO
The implication of Venus square Pluto is that these individuals will pay a price for their relationships. No matter how easy or exciting relationships start out, they invariably come to include manipulation and power plays. If these individuals fail to cooperate with the manipulations of others or they seek to gain too much control themselves, the only alternative may be utter loneliness. Much, however, will be gained if they learn to minimize their own need for control and tactfully sidestep others who try to exert control.

HOUSE 8
The eighth house is related to taxes, debt, death, legacies, and the income you receive through marriage or business partner(s). It describes your resourcefulness, and your ability to develop and use material assets as well as personal skills and abilities. The eighth house also indicates sexual attitudes and behavior.

CANCER on 8th HOUSE
Cancer ruling the eighth house indicates individuals who know exactly what they want and will go about satisfying their desires with remarkable tenaciousness. They are not likely to be glib or open about emotional needs, though when they are sure a particular situation is well in hand, they can be brutally frank and explicit about what they want. Others may find it difficult to fathom their true emotions, especially since they can appear to be emotionally satisfied even when they are not. They are apt to have instinctual responses and may come to rely on their intuition in handling finances and other resources. They may be attracted to mysteries, the occult, and the arcane. Though the Cancerian influence on the eighth house suggests the strong possibility of inheritance, it is just as strongly evident that their family and family connections may be among their most valuable resources. They are very vulnerable in matters of sex and romance, but there is potential for great strength as well as selfishness, so in many cases, they give as good as they get.

HOUSE 9
The ninth house describes higher education, advanced training, publishing, publicity, advertising, politics, foreign travel, foreign studies, religious and philosophical views and activities, and cultural pursuits. It relates to court decisions, a second marriage, and in-laws. To a certain extent the ninth house also describes the job or health of your mother.

CANCER on 9th HOUSE
Cancer ruling the ninth house indicates strong emotional identification with higher learning whether or not they get a degree, with cultural pursuits whether or not they have special talent, with publishing whether or not they are writers, with travel whether or not they go anywhere, with religion whether or not they are religious, or with politics whether or not they ever run for public office. The emotional identification they develop is also likely to leave them vulnerable not only to the influence of others but to extremes in thinking and behavior with regard to these areas. Cancer's influence presents the possibility they will reside near a university, church, theater, or museum, or become educated in a foreign country. It also suggests their mothers may be of foreign birth or of a different race or culture than their fathers.

HOUSE 10
The tenth house describes your career and other long-range goals, public reputation, superiors and those in authority. It also relates to your father and his influence in your life.

LEO on 10th HOUSE
Leo ruling the tenth house indicates those with strong egos that must find expression in some public manner. There is potential that the father plays a pivotal role in shaping their destinies. They may, for example, be given special strength or assistance from this parent. Even in the case of loss or absence of the father, it does not have to be a negative factor since it can also have the effect of making them stronger and able to push forward. Other possibilities include the fact that they may have responsibility for their fathers or bear a close physical resemblance to him. The potential of Leo's influence suggests that they will seek to attain positions of great honor or authority, or lead public lives as actors, politicians, lectures, and spokespersons. They may work for themselves or occupy an elevated position in the company that employs them. Many of these individuals find it difficult to remain content solely with home and family. Even those who lovingly (and efficiently) manage family responsibilities will also seek to accomplish their personal goals.

URANUS in 10th HOUSE
Uranus in the tenth house indicates those who may unexpectedly attract public attention. Noteworthy activities that bring these individuals into the spotlight are likely to be connected with some impact they make on society, which can mean anything from criminal acts to humanitarian projects. These individuals may also have unusual or unorthodox supervisors. One of the strongest implications of Uranus in the tenth house is that at some point, usually after they have embarked on a particular career or life style, they are apt to go off in a completely different direction. Even if they do not initiate such a switch, some momentous circumstance over which they have no control can turn their life around. The influence of Uranus also implies that their career or activities may be unorthodox, dealing with an unusual subject or requiring unusual skills. Those who follow a more traditional career are usually attracted to medicine, music, communication, teaching, social work, computers, or the media. These individuals may suddenly or unexpectedly be separated from their father, or he may be unusual or unorthodox in some way. They rebel against authority and restrictions. When it suits their long-range purpose, however, they happily embrace more traditional ideas and methods.

URANUS conjunct PLUTO
Uranus conjunct Pluto occurs about every 171 years, the last time being the mid-1960's. The revolutionary character of its influence in the United States was seen in the enormous personal and public crisis over issues like the Vietnam War and the fast emerging drug culture. The influence may or may not affect individuals born in this generation personally but it will have much to do with how their generation runs the world in the next century.

PLUTO in 10th HOUSE
Pluto in the tenth house indicates those who want to control their own destiny and as a result, are reluctant to allow anyone to assume power or influence over their decisions or the directions they take. It must be added however, that they may not develop this desire until later in life. If, for one reason or another, they do not develop control over their own life, it is likely to become a significant impediment to their ultimate growth and maturity. Other Pluto potentials include those who focus intense energy in pursuing a career or other long-range goals. Whether or not they gain power and status themselves, they seem able to attract the attention and association of those who do. By choice or circumstance there may be secrecy and hidden control or manipulation related to a parent (usually the father), their career, or the amount of public influence these individuals possess.

MARS in 10th HOUSE
Mars in the tenth house indicates those who like their activities to be public. They are very ambitious, and are excellent promoters. For the most part it may be themselves or their own efforts they promote, but they can be just as enthusiastic about seeking public attention for someone else or a cause in which they have great interest. Some people may work as tirelessly as they do, but few will match the aggressiveness and persuasive force of these individuals. Some people may be content to work quietly behind the scenes but these individuals want their efforts to be noticed. Strong qualities of leadership gives them the ability to inspire others. They are apt to work better alone, and many prefer to operate their own business rather than work for anyone else. The lifestyle of these individuals is not apt to be very tranquil or very ordinary. The influence of Mars in the tenth house suggests difficulty attracting a marriage partner. The attention of these individuals is so often focused on their career or other goals they don't have time for any one else, or they may simply be so aggressive that a potential marriage partner feels threatened. The negative potential of this Mars position includes loss of the father or male authority figure, a father who is domineering, and disagreements with superiors and other authority figures.

MARS opposite SATURN
Individuals with Mars opposite Saturn do not tolerate those who are overbearing or authoritative. They may not always show resentment outwardly but will usually seek to extricate themselves from this type of domination in one way or another. There may be loss of parents, or parents may exhibit the domineering influence they find so difficult. For them, the key to success is in learning to deal with structure and authority in a more positive way.

MARS conjunct URANUS
There is an unpredictability about those with Mars conjunct Uranus. They may think of themselves as different, and it is likely that in many ways they are. With a strong sense of personal independence, sometimes just stubborn contrariness, they are sure to want to go their own way. Restless and daring spirits take them in many different directions, often ending up far from where they started out. Care must always be taken with machinery, even though they may be thoroughly familiar with its operation.

MARS sextile NEPTUNE
Those with Mars sextile Neptune are not always lucky, but they may often be able to benefit from a lucky hunch. It also suggests opportunities occur not so much through care or planning but because they happen to be in the right place at the right time. Opportunities for these individuals may come through religion, art, the occult, photography and/or mathematics.

MARS conjunct PLUTO
In most cases Mars conjunct Pluto indicates those with remarkable physical and emotional strength. They are apt to have endless capacity to work hard and play hard. The problem is that they can be too intense or aggressive at times which makes others feel ill at ease. Weaponry, psychology, counseling, raw materials, surgery, cooking, mines and caves, secret activities and groups, or renovations are particular areas of interest to these individuals.

HOUSE 11
The eleventh house rules friendships, organizations to which you belong, and income derived from self-employment or career (as opposed to wages earned from a job). It relates to the role you play in the lives of others as child, parent, lover, spouse, friend, social or business associate. The eleventh house also describes your hopes and aspirations and capacity for happiness.

VIRGO on 11th HOUSE
Virgo ruling the eleventh house indicates those who use friends and acquaintances as sounding boards and inspiration for their thoughts and ideas. They are also apt to be involved in fraternal associations and societies, playing active roles by holding office or serving on various committees. They are the ones likely to write or publish the newsletters or official communications of the organizations to which they belong. Their friends are apt to include those who are in the field of health and social services, as well as teachers, secretaries, clerks, writers, artists, designers, and those who are mechanically inclined. They will have more acquaintances than close friends, which may or may not have to do with the fact that many of their contacts are based on mental rapport or for practical purposes rather than emotional commitments. The negative potential of Virgo's eleventh-house influence includes the possibility of being too critical of friends, being taken advantage of by friends, antisocial attitudes, and that they are too eccentric in their ideas or communication. The positive side of Virgo's influence is the willingness to accept responsibility for friends.

HOUSE 12
The twelfth house describes the private and hidden side of life; your subconscious mind, dreams, the past, and those who wish you harm or work against your interests. The twelfth house relates to sorrow, disappointment, loss, solitude or confinement, hidden fears and worry. It also has connection with the job or health of your marriage or business partner.

SCORPIO on 12th HOUSE
Scorpio ruling the twelfth house indicates the likelihood of individuals who participate in or investigate secret activities or organizations. It also suggests an unconscious need to be powerful, effective individuals. Those who have positions of personal power would not particularly want others to know the source of that power. Scorpio suggests the likelihood of being alert to subconscious levels of thought and existence, dreams, the occult, and spiritualism. Those who actively pursue these interests however, may tend to keep their knowledge to themselves unless others factors in their personalities support a more extroverted demonstration or use of occult or arcane subjects. Another potential under Scorpio's influence on the twelfth house is the desire to keep hidden knowledge of their assets and resources. Others may know or at least be able to estimate something of the obvious income or assets of these individuals, but they enjoy having all kinds of material and nonmaterial resources of which no one else is aware.

NEPTUNE in 12th HOUSE
Neptune in the twelfth house indicates those with hidden vulnerability. They can be heavily influenced by dreams, feelings of guilt, and the past. The negative potential of twelfth house Neptune includes the possibility of those who struggle with despair, those who isolate themselves from society, and those who must be confined for one reason or another. Communication with their father may be disrupted from time to time by lack of awareness, fear, or misunderstanding. There is also the potential that their marriage partner may suffer from hypochondria and hard-to-diagnose illnesses. Their partner's job may involve secret or illegal activities, naval or maritime industry, religion, photography, drugs, or charitable institutions. Positive influences of Neptune include those with remarkable intuition, artistic talent, sensitivity, vivid imagination, and spirituality. The ability to float in and out of reality makes these individuals masters of disguise.
